Little beats the feeling of being on your own island. One feels freedom, peace and being disconnected from the world in a way.

Our tours are centered around a wilderness camp situated on Storøya in Lake Ingulfsvann in Lierne. Few experiences rival the sense of tranquility and freedom that comes with being on your own island. Here, amidst the untouched beauty of nature, one finds solace, peace, and a profound disconnection from the outside world.

Storøya is located just a few hundred meters from the mainland, with the landscape gradually ascending towards Lausmundklompen, a majestic mountain peak towering at 867 meters above sea level. It’s an ideal setting for those seeking to immerse themselves in the wilderness and escape the pressures of everyday life.

Tove and Tom Johnny, proprietors of a mountain property in Lierne, are the driving force behind Peak Recharging. Their passion for nature and hospitality shines through in every aspect of the experience. Learn more about their mountain property at Ingulfsvann Vestre. Here, amidst the rugged beauty of the landscape, everyday worries seem to fade away, overshadowed by the vastness and power of nature itself.

Arrival and departure at the car park where the car road ends at Ingulfsvann in Lierne Municipality, north-east in Trøndelag by the Swedish border. Here you can find information about how to get here.

On Storøya there is a campfire, tent area, a shed and an outdoor area and fishing possibilities on all sides. There are options to charge through a USB outlet.

We set up different tents, hammocks and lavvos to both test different accommodation, and so that everyone gets comfortable. If it rains, we put up a tarp over the campfire.
